P28 jumper....question

Default P28 jumper....question

ok i have a P28 ECU running my B18C1 with Skunk2 IM and chipped with a J's Racing program....SO the previous owner snipped the jumper to reset the ECU to pass smog which it did. so i want to solderd a new jumper but i didnt notice a difference at all!
it basically gets solderd to te board correct?
this is my first solderd i dont know if its functioning or not since i have no tach to read the Rev Limiter

You solder the jumper in J1 and that basically reroutes the ECU program to be read from the chip in the 27C256 socket location. There are still a couple of other items that need to be added to make it work but otherwise, that's the jist of it.

i cut the j1 jumper on my kenji p28 and it did make a difference b/c vtec engaged at 5000 rpm when i cut the jumper as supposed to 5700 rpm on kenjis chip.
