I believe you can just use aircraft paint stripper, and that's pretty much what's underneath...I could be wrong?

Probably the same as any other straight through design with similar piping. The exhaust isn't really where the power is on most small displacement motors....with 2.5" piping and without help from other mods, I'm guessing 8-12whp max (once again with piping, the muffler alone isn't really going to make much power). Granted you need to have a free flowing exhaust if you're hoping to further mod it....just don't hope for noticeable gains from the ES over something like an N1, etc.
Does ES even make a muffler like the one in the pic? I've only seen the oval ones. My monitor is kinda dark but that looks like an Apex'i N1 or a dirty T1R or something...or was that just a totally random question

There's one on the site some where.. I'll check my PC.. It was the first time I saw polished slips. It was a red EK coupe

i dont think you really need to sand...jsut get some aircraft stripper and take all the paint off..then polish away.
I did this on my s10 that had clear coated alum. wheels and the stripper took it right off, then i pressure washed them and started polishing BY HAND lol with mothers.
