Best Idea for 92 GS
Hello this is my first post
I'm going to soon be getting a 1992 Acura Integra GS
now i was wondering if i should keep this motor or do a swap or what?
Im a sophmore in Highschool and i dont have a job yet so please bear that in mind
I know the best thing to do would be a B18c5 swap
but would it be worth it to just bolt onto the stock motor i already have??
P.S. the one im getting has: Intake, Exhaust, Shortshift

There are so many options you have. With no jobbie job it will be tough to get things rolling though. Those motors make good power with bolt ons. If your looking for a quick go fast add on look for a 50 shot of NOS. I dont personally like it but it makes some people happy.
hey i got a 91 integ and i love it i would say first invest in headers.
next think out what kinda power you are gonna want .
i just had a b18c5 in my car and was not all that impressed not that its a bad motor just not enough for me. so i am currently building a b18b which is practicly what we start with, so i went full circle and wasted a ton of money in the process but you live and learn.
i would start by getting a b18b head bare if possible get some mild head work and crower internals just springs and retainers, then get a better intake manifold (jg or skunk) the reason i say start with this is because no matter where u go from there those will help you whether u go turbo, NA, or supercharger
u figure around 100 for b18b head, 320 or so for the intake manifold, and 300-350 for crower springs and retainers, and the head work will range from about 400-1k
so atmost your spending 1800 and have a good start for whatever route you go.
the best part is you can go in peices with no down time and not blow your budget and be screwed. you can just buy the head, then the manifold, then crower stuff, and then find a good head shop and have them assemble it for yah then just slap it on.
hope this help its what i wish i would have done when i started
instead i went LS/Vtec boy i hated that year!
