which is the best transmision for a single cam. its for my brothers car. currently he has a d16z6 and the tranny is going out on it. i was just wondering if their is a better one than the one he currently has. thanks for any info.

yes EX/Si tranny. i got it and goin 70MPH @ 3,000 RPM

then put an LSD with 4.7 or 4.9 final drive....it will make the car scream!!!

d16y8 (96-00EX) tranny is best. d16z6(92-95 EX/SI) tranny is next best.
