what do you guys do to prevent your coilovers from rusting

Default what do you guys do to prevent your coilovers from rusting

i know there is a big case...especially with tein's and their coilovers from rusting. their new basics and flex's are teflon coated to prevent that. but i am looking to get the ss which isn't. what do you guys do to prevent rusting. do you guys jack up your car and clean the coilovers or what? thanks in advance

never cleaned em.....

buy quality stuff not ebay if you don't want it rusting!

well i was looking in tein ss and they are not teflon coated. but they are not ebay quality, but they do rust eventually.

spray tons of wd-40 on it...

Spray it down everytime you drive in snow/sludge/ice/sand etc...

P.S. I've had my coilovers for over 3 years and I have never cleaned them. No rust so far, didn't get them on ebay but you can....VIS SpecII/Tokico Blues.

only thing you can do... I thought HA's were the only teins that rust...
