im leaving in two weeks and will be gone for a month.....we're going to tokyo and other major cities. want JDM parts for my EG but need advice on what to get. on a budget

was thinkin of a motor, B series, but with shipping i could get a usdm one for about the same price. right now my EG is stock engine wise....i have TEIN SS coilovers....Slips.....Spoon strut bars.....JDM amber corners....Spoon ****....and thats about it.....savin for my swap but also want to bring a few things back from this once in a lifetime trip. i just crashed my **** last week hit guardrail and need a new rear bumper, hatch, tail light, and quarter panal pounding.....so in other words im on a budget. any advice? a JDM wife would be tite!

 

if you don't get anything...get me 2 japanesee hookers and airmail them to me!

 

go to a junkyard and bring back headlight sets, interior pieces, steering wheels, seats, etc... anything you can get, I'm sure you can sell for a ton of money over here!!

you should visit type one. they have good prices on used spoon products. also the guys are super nice and will give you some presents if they like you. look for this guy

 

good luck if they let you get parts from the junkyard. i heard it was hard to get parts unless you had a license or something. but thats what i heard from my cousin who lives there.

i remeber reading somewhere how honda b seris engines can be had in japan for DIRT cheap. something like 2000 american for good condition type r swaps. shop around sand see what you find

Of course, try and get some stuff you can't get over here: rare accesories, wheels, motor parts, etc...A friend of mine just called me from there, and i had him look for some stuff for my 95 hatch. he's staying in Yukoska. The junkyards he visited told him they keep the cars for 2 days, then they smash them or something like that...

If I was going, i would try and get some space cruiser yamato (starblazers) stuff, and other older anime toys, but that's me

Oh yeah, try and snag some Dunks out there!
