Default zeal function basics or b2's

my range for suspension for my ek is around 1200 max....what do you guys prefer? i heard the function basic has a fixed-rate dampering...does that mean you can't adjust the dampering level or what? doesn't make sense. could you guys give your opinions on either setup...thanks

If you're going to autocross the car I would strongly advise saving for the Function B6 due to the adjustable damper and shock body length.

If it's just for the street I would go with the Basic.

i don't plan on autocrossing at all...mostly used for the street and taking it to dragstrip once a month if not. from what i know the function basics have a fixed dampering...so i couldn't mess with the dampering if i wanted too and with the b2's, they do not like it if you mess with the height settings alot and throws everything off eventually.

Yes, that's true

I'm not quite sure what you're trying to say, but the Basic and the B2 coilovers do not have adjustable shock body length but you can still lower the car with the sacrafice of shock travel.
