Inheriting an Accord to be used as a weekend racer...what should I do?
Well, after going to road racing school, I am officially hooked on road racing. I have a couple of choices to get more racing experience.
1) pay $3000 approx to join a racing series (local in my country), where organizers will make 10 races for the season, provide a car for all 10 entrants, maintain the car and do everything...basically, all I have to do is be there to race on the weekends they schedule! They will even give me a race suite! hehehe!
or...
2) Inherit the Honda Accord...5th gen F22 auto (I think), and use the money to make slight modificaitons to get it track worthy, and go on weekends to do lapping sessions...and maybe in the future join a sanctioned race.

Go for #1!!!
You'll save money and gain valuable experience. #1 is a steal, you can always buy your own car to race later.

true, but it's funner to build your own car.
but if the weekend racer is an auto accord i'd probably go with the racing series thing, since you'll get pretty frustrated with an auto tranny and swapping in a manual will be $$$.
