Default OT: well guys, i've "switched teams"

well after some serious problems with my lude, or shall i say ludes, i needed to do something, i was without a car to drive, so drastic time call for drastic measures. a friend of mine offered me a trade for my prelude shell. i.e. the body with inteior and suspension, no motor/trans/axels/ecu etc. he offered me his 94 Mustang GT 5.0 and some cash for the car, so after a week of driving the stang, and sme serious thought, i decided to go for it. i have not left the prelude world yet completely, i still have my 93 Si, which will soon have my built H22 in it.

cliffs notes: i traded this car,
with no motor for this car, with a 5.0 HO, an takind this motor,
and putting it in this car

he might like the hood, it almost matches his old one. j/k. I guess not a bad trade, im not a big fan of that body style for the stangs, im hoping they get better in '05. But at least you got something that is easily upgraded for some real power

I bet some one else is saying the same thing about the prelude's hood. "cool car just get the stock hood."

If all you gave him was a shell of a car I'd say you got the better end of the deal.

the 302 is a potential a better engine performance wise, and reliability wise, most people says its the best engine Ford has produced

now as for the Lude, if i had taken the time to fix the 5th gen so i could sell it, i would STILL be without a car to drive

not a bad deal i suppose. owe any money on the prelude? i thought about getting a 5.0 or a lt1 but started looking at the mods i could do and decided to get my truck instead, otherwise i'd be in a real money pit..but 8mpg toy owns me right now.

Not a big fan of mustangs, but i respect them for what they are...givin they aren't v6 ones with dual pipes wanabe v8. I know the stang is faster, but which would you prefer? Stang or lude?

yea, i still technically owe on the lude, but my dad's company makes the payments as part of my salary, so i dont actually have to make payment anymore

the new owner of the car is a member on this board, so you will still be seeing it around

i guess the lude is mine then

THE STOCK HOOD DOESNT EXIST.......ya its a 5.0 car, and i spent some cash on the suspension.....

I wanted a lude for some time....and when i pick it up, there will be 3 hondas in my driveway...the lude, my 96 gsr sedan(for sale) and my 96 cbr6 f3

Its a dope stang...and im kinda sorry to see it go...but i will build another, but for now i still love hondas
