55k miles, just bought this car about two months ago from a Honda Dealership, used. Any ideas on why the light would turn on? The car sounds and runs fine. I'm taking it to the dealership where we bought it tomorrow. I'd like to see if anyone here could possibly make any type of diagnosis even though they have not heard/seen the problem.

 

you'd need to see what the code you're throwing before you could figure out the problem.. Do a search on "How to check your CEL Code" Theres plenty of info on the net that teaches you how to do it.. Especially try and figure out the problem yourself if the dealer trys to charge you

 

all you need to check the codes is a paper clip,..just jump the service connector,...and you wll need a list of CEL codes which you can find on http://www.c-speedracing.com ,..i think it tells you how to check the codes on that site as well,...something you should definitely find out how to do
