Default Brake/Gas Pedal installation question

I swapped my '94 automatic LS transmission for a GSR 5 speed and i need install the manual brake/gas pedals. I have the complete assembly and base for the manual and gas pedals. My questions are:

1) is this a direct bolt on or is there some sort of fabrication necessary to swap the pedals?

2) what exactly will i be unhooking from the old pedals and hooking up to the new ones? (harnesses, cables, lines, etc...)

3) do i have to remove the steering column to swap the pedals? (my mechanic thinks so...but i'm skeptical...it looks like it can be managed w/o taking out the column)

thanks in advance.

Sell your car and buy a GSR, not worth it

I didn't ask for your opinion buddy And it's too late. I already did the transmission swap...i just need to change the pedals (you would have known that if you read the post).

yes it is a direct bolt on
when i did mine the clutch pedal holes were already there i just needed to pop-out the diamond shped piece.
as far as the brake/gas pedals, you can do one of two things
1. swich out the whole assembly
2. (what i did, but a real PITA) just switch out the brake pedal
the hard part about this is getting you hand up in the area and loosening the bolt, and the next hardest thing is putting the return spring back on, which what you have to so before you reassemble anything back together.

you dont need to remove the steering column, i did it on my back. a few things that could help are probably. removing the driver seat if you dont have a lift so you dont have to be all twisted up. or if you have a lift just raise it high enough so you can comfortably work on it standing up.

i hope this helps
