B16 OBD-0 Distributor question
Does anyone know how I can tell if my dizzy is actually a b16 OBD0 dizzy? Mine right now looks awfully similar to a stock crx D-series dizzy. My b16 is running fine, but it takes forever to reach 8,000rpm. I'm thinking that i may have the wrong dizzy. Does anyone know if the stock crx dizzy would bolt up and work on a b16a motor?
Check:
Compression
Fuel
Spark
-You should have about 180+ PSI in all four cylinders, the more even the better.
-Do a complete ignition tune up... everything you can replace, replace
-Adjust the valves
-Change the fuel filter and get a guage to check how much PSI your old pump is
pushing.
Maybe you have a B16 that was an automatic?
