the center peice of the dash in a 96-98 civic where the radio and climate controlls are... is that section swapable for the 99-00 style? just a matter of wiring..plug an play... not same form? thanks

it's very possible. i've hepled do it in my friend's 97 cx, but you have to swap over some stuff from a 99-00. stuff like the heater core, blower box, etc. took us a day, not bad. just time consuming. good luck man. if i was near ya i'd come help

its doable but yours 96-98 is cable type console as the 99-00 is electric
