Default Finally boosted my hatch...my engine history

Well....I originally built myself a SOHC all motor setup consiting of p29 pistons in a all new Z6 block, ZEX cam, ported head, etc.....but tuning $$ had to go to living expenses...so I parted out that setup.....before the new high comp bottom end, I dynoed 114 wheel with a shot stock bottom end....

This was back in April of this year....the fresh block

I ended up pulling this bottom end out after 100 miles and swapping my stockl bottom end back in and selling the ZEX cam...essentially going back to stock with ported head- keep in mind this is my daily driver, so all work has to be done within like 4 hours usually....lol

Back to stock for autocross season and the rest of the summer...

Then, at the end of summer, my good friend wrecked his EK which had a B16A2 swap in it which had overheating and other problems. So, I picked the swap up for cheap, rebuilt the head, replaced rusted cooling parts, etc.

And 2 weeks ago, finally swapped in the B16 one night after work, and then drove 400 miles across state to visit my family for the weekend. Came back 4 days later early 2 Mondays ago and di my daily thing. The next day, I swapped setups with a friend who originally wanted a B16. So, I got his 40k miles sohc vtec swap, 1200 mile Apexi kit, new in package ACT clutch, gauges, intercooler, and turbo timer. 4 hours later we were both on our way with new setups.

Now, 1 week of having the Apexi kit....I got to say it's the best setup so far. Quick spool, great torque, nice new ACT clutch, still get 35 mpg punching it a lot too .

Hondata S200 is in, being wideband tuned on the street this week and then dyno on Saturday. Going to run a DSM sidemount, up boost to 8 and call it good for awhile. Then I'm going to do an equal length drive shaft setup and have an even faster auto-x car and daily driver

I'm shooting for some pretty good power with the s200...and can't wait to up to 8 lbs. In the future is a 10:1 setup and 10 psi ...nice and simple

Oh, here's a pic of my car

Usually I get very good deals, yes. It's the only way I was able to have Spoon wheels, ITR spec front brakes, and all these engines...because I'm a poor college student...lol. And all is legit and accounted for ....thanks for the comments....I'll be sure to post dyno chart on Saturday

Don't worry. Many D series buulds will continue to happen. I'm actually building a 11:1 D16Z6 for a friend with an Exospeed cam and ANR header...should see some good results.

Ideally, I would like to build a good 140 whp all motor sohc with a custom tranny and differential...but that's gonna be $$
