Helms says to:

"Turn crankshaft so No. 2 and 3 crankpins are at the bottom"

What are crankpins? Sometimes this Helms isnt too detailed and doesnt even have an appendix for newbies.

Crank pins are another name for crank journals...the piece of the crank that the rod bolt around.

 

just trying to take off crank as per the helms manual.
