Engine Question
I did a search and came up with nothing. What is the difference between the B16A 92-93 Integra (XSi) and the B16A 92-00 (SiR-II)? The XSi is $550.00 cheaper than the SiR II on HMO. Just wanted to know if there's a difference between the two.

The main difference when you are talking about full swaps is that the XSi swap will come with a cable tranny but the SiRII comes with a hydraulic tranny. Both motors are basically the same, both are OBD1 with the same specs. Most EG/EK people choose the SiRII swap and EF/DA people get the XSi or first gen B16A.

I believe the difference is that the older one is a cable tranny with a rated 160hp and the newer one has a hydro tranny and rated 170 hp. Also little upgrades and such.
