Default Brembo OEM Blanks, turn my rotors, or something else?

Hi, I just completed an ITR 5 lug conversion on my Civic. My rotors appear to be worn funny, not warped, but worn unevenly. I think I need new rotors, although I guess I could just get mine turned.

What after market rotors do you recommend? Does drilled/slotted rotors make any difference? Should I just get Brembo OEM blanks, if so where can I get the best price? Thank you.

-Jake

get OEM blanks not drilled or slotted. (search for the infamous altima thread if you want the gory details on that one)
Brembos are good. Autozones are cheaper

Brembo blanks are nice, but I haven't found them to be any better than the Autozone rotors that are on my car now

Dumb question, I know ITRs and Legends have the same brakes, would it be cheaper if I bought Legend rotors as opposed to ITR?

Also, I don't mean slotted, I mean are they vented like the OEM rotors where if you look at the edge they sort of appear to be hollowed out.

Thanks.

yes they are vented like OEM rotors. I dont know the exact difference between the mid 90's legend rotor and the ITR rotor, but they arent exactly the same as far as I know. Im not too sure of price differences either. Search for posts from Willard about the rotors. There is a detailed one around somewhere.

Autozone rotors own. Same as OEM and brembo but much cheaper

INFO:
AutoZone 'description'
95 Acura Legend 4-door sedan LE/SE model = #048731 3296 = $24.99 each.

price depends on your hometown autozone. They are 21.99 here in NE.

no reason not to buy rotors when they are this cheap

Sweet, thanks guys, they are only $20 each from Autozone. I'm just gonna play it safe and order ITR ones. I'll look for Willard's thread.

Default Cryo treated

http://www.frozenrotors.com/

Cryo treated rotors rock. Used to go through rotors every race weekend with the 911. We've gone 3 weekends with these rotors so far and they are still straight and not cracked...

Make sure you bed the new pads in properly.

I bought the Autozone (Aimco) 3296s Willard recommended for the fronts. They are from a '95 Legend for $25 each and I bought some sort of Autozone (ValueCraft) rotors for the rear...they were only $9.99 each!!!! I hope they are ok?

Sorry guys, no rears.

Autozone messed up. The computer showed they have them, and they were in stock. My dad got there and they were 4 lug rotors for the rear? They had rear Legend rotors in 5 lug but I don't think they fit. Damn.

Anyone know where I can find cheap rear ITR rotors? I'm going to try AdvancedAuto next.
