When I did my GSR swap I got one like this:

It works great and mainly I needed the O2 bung for my sensor.

Yea my friend baught one of those chromed out ones for his 00' Civic DX. Its basically a test pipe, theres nothing at all restricting the flow, if your arm was small enough you could fit it through the whole thing. The muffler shop where he got custom piping from, the guy said he had to ask his boss if he was allowed to put it on, and he wasn't there so we didn't have it put on. It struck me as awkward, he seemed hesitant to put on a "high flow cat", but he had no problem installing pipe from the header back. So he's running with no cat now, just seems weird that its fine for him to put on piping with no cat, as opposed to piping with a high flow cat.

i have that exact same one... works great, and sounds incredibly nice. Especially since i got it for $30. can't help you out with emissions, because i don't have to take the test,
I did not have to worry about emissions here. so i do not know, mine had the bung to hook up the O2 sensor so it may pass I wouldn't bet any large amount of money on it though. I like it alot .
I'm also wondering if this is emissions legal??
I am thinking about getting one of these cheapies of Ebay but I need to be able to pass DEQ.
I don't want to have to swap out the stock cat when I go through DEQ, although I guess I could if I had to.
