No i dont think a new speedo cable will solve this. You probably have to adjust the needle. Does the needle sit higher when you have come to a full stop ???

nope the needle sits right on the resting post on the gauge.

i doubt it is the gauges, if u have rims/tires that dont match the oem size, it will throw off ur speedo, mines off by 10% with 205/45/16 tires, u may have just not noticed it before the gauges were installed

i've seen a lot people pull the needles off to install indiglo gauges before, but it's usually not necessary. anyway, if it weren't for the resting post, the needle would try to point nearly straight down (regardless of gravity). the fact that it rests exactly on that post wouldn't really change anything. it's not an easy thing to try to pull the needle off again and re-align it. actually, i don't recommend even trying it.

if they pulled the needles off to install the gauges, then that is the reason your spedometer reads wrong. just try to get used to it. it will consistantly be off the same amount at all driving speeds. if it bugs you too much, buy a new gauge cluster from a junkyard and don't install indiglo gauges on the new cluster.
