Is it 7200 or 7500 several people are telling me both??? Also does the ecu have a revlimiter on the jdm ecu's cause i have been redlining at 7500..

 

redline is 7500 fuel cut is 7650 or so

Indicated redline on the tach is 7400 I'm pretty sure.

 

well my rev limiter kicks in at 8k, not too sure on redline I still have the s thach

I've actually got my engine up to 7920 before, pretty scary being that hard on the rev limiter, mis-shifted really bad That's off the v-afc memory, so it's probably off, not sure where the actual tach read)

 

the JDM gauge cluster that came with one of my swpas showed a redline of 7400 rpm.

Take the time it out a little more and we might be able to answer your question more effeciently.
For my P13 ecu from a 94 4WS Prelude VTEC, Redline is 7200, fuel-cutoff (rev limiter) usually kicks in at 7400 reliably, that sounds bad , but it usually does kick in right above 7400, you can get it up more because the ecu cant control the max rpm, just the fuel-cutoff time.

 

maybe its the tach but thats 2nd gear. I shift when the needle gets to 8

 

Actual numbers

Redline - 7400rpm
Rev limiter - 7650rpm

Indicated on stock tach (averaged)

Redline - 7700rpm
Rev limiter - 8000rpm.

 

the redline is at 7400 my feulcut is at 8200

 

ok i guess its just around 7400-7500

 

Redline: 7400rpm indicated on JDM cluster
Rev limiter: 7750rpm indicated on digital rpm counter with 4th gen JDM ECU
