d16z6 block, 15" wheels, 13" winter wheels, civic suspension, New d16 piston rings for sale
Hi All, I am in New York and am selling the following things:
D16Z6 Bare block. Str block guard installed. I can't have it honed to fit the standard bore wisecos I bought for it. This block would be perfect for 0.10 or 0.20 over boring and oversize pistons. The Block guard is STR and has no coolant issues. (My friend uses it for a 9000 RPM autoX motor) - $100
Primax 355 - 15" wheels 5 SPOKE - 35 offset 4*100 or 4*114.5 - Yokohama Avid tires (Not much tread left) - Great shape - I got an ITR 5 lug conversion and can't use these anymore. - $250 OBO
1994 Civic DX Suspension - 45000 miles - LCA's trailing, arm, calipers... All was taken off for my 5 lug conversion - NO ACCIDENTS - (Rear lca's have prothane bushings) - $150
Make offers if interested in anything - Prefer Local but will ship if you pay shipping.
e-mail me at Inxbrain@aol.com or PM me
Thanks

bump.
100 + ship is already really cheap (Block guard cost 80$ alone (Same as the GE blockguard and I hear it was made by GE for STR)

up. I spent 4-5 hours today trying to fix my desktop. It has pics of the wheels on it. It looks like I'm going to need to re-install win 2k... I am trying to back up files to CD's...
Shipped to 76017 is $300 - Shipping is almost $80 so it's still a good deal IMHO.
late bump - MY 77 MM rs block will be here soon. Take my wisecos or a block... (or else I'll have 3 bare blocks here this weekend...
The Y8 block I'm getting this week is the one I am building up... (RS sleeved 77mm)
The 2 for sale are Z6.
To the best of my understanding, the blocks are the same. if you put A Y8 oil pump on a Z6 you can use a Y8 pan. Bore&Stroke are the same as is cooling flow.
Electronics are all on the head, and compression is affected by Y8 head size. Pistons not included in either bare block as they should be honed to fit your pistons.

Are you absolutely certain of that, because I need a new oil pan for my d16z6 and might have access to a y8 one. Bump for you.

For the Y8 Oil Pan, I am repeating what Tom at RPM NYC told me. He suggested I put a Y8 pan on my Z6 as it is lighter and dissipates heat better... use the info at your own risk but I wouldnt be worried. I will only know for sure when I have the new Y8 next to the z6...
EDIT - DOESN'T WORK

Thanks for the reply, that is definitely something I will look into further. I always thought the two were incompatible, but I remember the y8 oil pan being slightly better.
A bunch of my stuff is for sale because I bought 97civic-R's sleeved block :-)
