To do or not to do...
I have a REAl dilemma. Firts off let me say this, I live about 40 yards from the beach so I have to deal with salt air, and water. Which for those who don't know that means RUST!!!. I have no garage, so it is out of the question. I have a chance to buy a truck a beater for 300$ ford ranger 1986** it runs good just needs a new valve cover gasket, and heater core, and it needs an inspection sticker. So the dilemma. I have a 1993 cx hatch, nothing done to it. I wanted to get a full JDM d15b swap, and I want to do the suspension (kyb AGX/skunk 2 coilovers) and then work on the body ( rust spot, fender dented) I was thinking of resting the car for the winter time and run the POS truck, then when about march hits here or april, uncover the hatch and get a swap, and suspension and **** like that. Just torn between the two, any ideas would or suggestions, or even making fun of me would be cool. THANKS
Buy the truck and get it fixed up. If you got a hatch and dont have a garage and you have some shitty weather conditions, get a beater. It will most likley save you a lot of trouble. Plus there is nothing like letting the hatch rest and then bringing her back in the spring...
