93 EG automatic, what tranny mount is used for DOHC swap?

Default 93 EG automatic, what tranny mount is used for DOHC swap?

i have to eg hatches, one is auto and one manual. i was comparing the tranny mounts on the car. i notice the tranny body mounts are not the same. what am i going to do when i swap in a dohc swap (5spd) into the automatic? i know there are people who have done dohc swaps into a automatic eg. any help appreciated. thanks

You have to drill/chisel the old framerail bracket off and then weld the 5spd one in the right place. The 5 speed framerail bracket can be bought from Honda for about $25.

You can weld in the manual tranny bracket as mentioned or buy a mount made for that type of swap from HCP or Place Racing. Talk to Newman on here if you need would rather get the mount.
