Of, so here the deal, I work at a Honda repair shop here in town and drive a 99 Civic Si. I want some Civic Type R cams. We get dealer cost at the Honda dealership on parts. I called and asked if they had a pirce on the part numbers of Civic Type R cams. They said no part number was listed. So does anyone know if I can get them to order the cams and still get dealer or close to dealer price? I tried calling the local Acura dealership, but we only get 10% off retail since were "Honda repair specialists" Plus, the guys at Acura are a$$holes. Thanks for any help given!!

 

I wish I could be more help on this but here's what little I know. With the J-Spec vin and part number you can get just about anything. However the vin has got to support the part meaning if the vin is for a lude and you seek parts for your civic no go. Good luck in your quest!! You may also try getting the guys in parts to find and create an account with a supplyer that has what you seek at the right price.
