Default how much timing adv. is consider safe for 95 accord v6?

how much timing adv. is consider safe for 95 accord v6? Also, when people say 3 degree adv, what is the 3 degree adv relative to? distrubutor?

with the diag. connector off, why is the stock timing like 10 degree btdc? How is the base timing relates to the real timing (diag. connector off)?

When the diag. connector is on, my timing should be at tdc right?

but why? you may get a little more power, but fuel economy will be effected. Unless you are running higher octane i would leave the timing alone.
