Default swap with out removing the tranny?.....

Im in the process of swapping a d16y7 into my crx, and i ran into a problem with the shift linkage. Theres a pin that wont come out so i cant get the linkage disconnected from the tranny. Anyone know if its possible to unbolt the block from the tranny and pull the block while leaving the tranny in place
?

YES

i have done it 3 times now on the last time i have done it
what i have done its leave entire shift linkage and drivetrain alone
what i do is remove the crank pulley, and head along with manifold
once block its bare, between 2 people is a piece of cake to remove by hand...
i have done it 3 times now without a problem since i didnt had a cherry picker and i like it that way now.... easy and quick...
