I was over at my friend Clint's (Frosty_dub) house today checking out his graphic design skills. He is top notch and graduating this semester. I sparked his interest in making a Type-R shirt for us. We want all of the Type-R owners to have input. Possible ideas and directions we have thought of taking. Any and all input welcome. We need enough interest to really get things started.
1. Having the Type-R's complete race background and history on the back.
2. Possibly have Honda-Tech acknowledged on it somewhere.
A little sample of his work http://www.clintK.net

I think a simple design would work. I'd like to see maybe a short sleeve T-shirt with the ITR logo on the upper left chest, and an acura emblem with a red background on one of the sleeves. Offer it in three colors: white, black, and yellow.
i would like to see just a black polo with the type R logo just above the breast.
By the way what school are you graduating from? I am going to be graduating soon from Purdue for technical animation, but there is a very heavy emphasis on graphic design.

I would take one.
Something very small and not tacky on the front, and tons of info on the back. RealTime stats, production numbers, quotes from the various mags, etc.

That was my train of thought. Remember though guys I'm not the designer I just thought of the idea. We already have the "Humble your Prey" shirts that don't tell anything about the car. I want one that displays its racing background and various other facts/quotes.
It will be up to him but I was thinking of having the info displayed in several different category boxes on the back and having a bad ace background of various racing pics. Don't worry guys no Cartoon or show images. I wanted it to be a pure racing oriented shirt.

on the front of the shirt by the heart lets have the "integra type and the R" decal ... then on the back have a clean close up shot of the whole motor like an areial shot .. and under that some of the history & specs.. like timing valve lash deck height, piston size, bore , stroke, what v-tec stands for the whole nine yards
what you think guys if you like that idea let us all know

I would definitely be down to have some TYpe R shirts...i think that it would be tiite to be able to have a shirt that matched the car. The closest thing to that is my JDMHondaParts shirt with the DC2R badge on it.
Im thinking of something simple. I dont know about hoodies, I might need to check on it. Also have to check on a minimum order and whatnot. Someone should post pics for me to use, so I can get something started. High Res is prefered.
I am not sure on what tech info to put on there, I dont want it looking cluttered.
Oh and Im graduating from Auburn University, which ive heard from the outside, has a great design program.
