Hep setting up a GroupBuy
Allright guys, I just got back from a business meeting with one of my close friends from years back. Basically this is the outline of what’s happening. His current company, JRI which owns COLET SVD, http://www.coletsvd.com (the site I built and designed for them) can and does have dealer licenses to distribute certain performance car parts. There’s too many to list. And if there is a company that he isn’t affiliated with, he can easily become a dealer for them. Our plan consisted of starting off with a website to sell the parts through groupbuycenter so we can get our name out and to namely buy more parts for their crash trucks at higher bulk so they in turn save $. And when the cash flow starts coming in at a more regular basis, we will convert part of their plant to a performance car shop which will include lifts!
Anyways, I’m asking for your help in trying to find out which products you guys would want a group buy set up. For people that are in the bay area, prices for us would be cheaper since we wont have to pay shipping. Here is a list of some of the companies that we can set up a group buy with. So if any of these company’s products interest you, let me know.
AEM – would only be a local group buy since groupbuycenter has AEM stuff up all the time
APC
Autometer
Chikara
Dazz motorsports – for just about any type of rims needed
Flex-a-lite Fans
FLUIDYNE RADIATORS
Moroso
Optima Batteries
PIAA
Suspension Techniques

By the looks of it so far, it's going to be a Fluidyne buy in with FAL really closely behind. I'm still trying to negotiate a decent price for the group buy. If it comes to it, I will make it so that the prices are sold at our costs just so that we get our name out there and start building a customer base.
Mugen. I know for a fact that someone was trying to setup a buy for Mugen petals and there was about 100 responses just in the Type R forum. The buy never went through, dunno what happend. Also Toda is a big seller. You could sell 25 toda cam gears no problem. Probaby toda flywheels too (I'll be first in line for that). Also I know the Type R people are looking for a good buy on Mugen lowdown's.
