If anyone was watching this today, one of the drivers for HOA was a guy named Lee Niffeneger (sp. on last name), and he also happened to be one of the instructors at the last ITR Expo. Why did I recognize him? He gave me a ride in his R during one of the instructor sessions. Very nice guy, awesome driver, unfortunately, something happened and he couldn't finish the race, but he was interviewed on Speed whenever that was (this afternoon?). Lee, if you're ever on here, sorry to see you couldn't finish, but I hope you're still having fun tearing up someone else's car, heh heh heh.

 

that interview had a couple of nice shots of andie's cobalt stickers..

there's a funny story about lee.. he's an engineer for honda research. he didn't know about honda-tech a while ago. a kid asked him, 'hey do you know about honda-tech?'. his reply was, 'honda tech? what are you talking about, I'M honda tech!'

Funny. Lee was telling that story @ Laguna when he was @ the SWC race. Lee & the Team Honda Reserch team will be coming to Cali of the 25 Hours of Thunderhill. They are going to try to take the title from us in E2 .

We will actually pit & paddock together. If everything goes right, both teams will be on the podium.

how are you doing? i have been way too busy getting ready for the 25 Hour. were you planning on coming out for the race?

 

things are great.. just bought a house so needless to say i'm very busy.

unfortunately i can't join you guys but have a great time at the 25 hour.. looks like you're heading up the team to beat!
