I am about to buy a 99 civic si with 51,000 miles on it...it was goin for $8,350...the guy brought it down to $7,600...then $7,000...it has a salvaged title....am i gettin a fair deal...i think so but jst checkin with the rest of u?

oh. well *** long as the name of the person/company that is selling you the car has there name on the title then i would say take him down to 6500. is the car in one peice?

 

well im buying it from some body shop i found in van nuys.. and yes everything is fine i even compresion tested it

 

then i say go for it. i would just get a real good security system since that car has been raped already.

Yeah, just take the car out and drive it. Listen for odd noises. If it drives fine and they are reputable than a salvage title shouldn't matter. Mine is a clean title but the 2 theft title SI's we have gotten have been $8k and $9k from the same person. He just called me the other night and has a FBP theft he would sell for $8k.

 

i think thats pretty cheap...get it!

Make sure it's got a B16 in it!
