attention all RHD owners!!!
For all those who own a register RHD vehicle in the states, I have a RHD DA and I'm in the process of getting it registered. I live in California and was wondering if you've ever gotten pulled over and for what reason.. What in the world does the officer do or what questions does he ask you about the RHD car. Just kind of wondering what kind of problems i would run into if i got pulled over.

Sure... but no problems when the car is registered and has current tags on it. Just like any other car, just driving on the other side.

Actually, believe it or not, it's easier to make left turns when a car is infront of you. Reason being, they make a left turn infront of you and when they start the turn, it opens up the visible view to see other oncoming cars. Where as in my other Integra, you have to sit there waiting until the car has completely turned left and cleared the view, and in busy traffic it's a bitch to wait that long. Not when at an intersection when you're making a left turn, and somebody is making a left turn (coming towards you, oncoming), then it's a tricky to see around that but still not impossible. RHD is coo on the freeway because you can see around to the right of the car, especially when people drive slow in the "fast" lane and use the "slow" right lane for passing
.
But of course, everyone is going to have their own opinions, but that's just from my 1st hand experience right there.

Driver skill, baby.... driver skill
Granted it's awkward at first, but you get used it and know what spots to look for and what are your blind spots to watch out for.
