Default 99 EK offset???

Alright in light of my recent encounter with a curb, I'm doing some upgrades and making some changes to my hatch ( http://64.233.207.13/~citrek/ek )... i currently have black 16" slips... and am going to get 16" gun metal with polished lip slips from machiii.net. what offset should i get??? 40, 45, 48. i have a CTR conversion on... the black ones are 45 offset because i thought i was going to do the ITR conversion and i think the rims stuck out too much and rubbed the fenders on mildly hard cornering with the CTR setup... should i go with 5x114.3 @ 40 offset??? i think stock is 42 something right? please lemme know.

After re-reading your post I think +45 should work, but I'm not sure with the CTR setup

anyone else, i think 40, but not exactly sure if that would make the lip stick out further or in more.

The higher the offset the more it sticks out.
