Default Testing Waters - Mugen Exhaust

How much would a JDM length twin loop with 5K miles go for? (For a Type R, obviously)

it really depends on how long you can wait.

if you price it low it will move immediately.

I know this. What would be the interest for it priced at $950. The Exhaust is in excellent shape, as some can vouch for this.

That's a little too optimistic considering it can be had brand new from King Motorsports for $25 more than your potential asking price.

Yeah, and shipping is going to be $100 for something like that.

Plus Mugen has a tendency to get ground down a bit once used on the R because the resonator is so big.

Accutally the Sports Exhaust from King is $975, plus shipping. However my price would include shipping.

I hardly drive my R. The exhaust has no scratces or rubs on it.

800 shipped is a fair price. used condition, is still used

at the max is 900

you can get used twin loops from jdm importers for 4-600 with a few scratches but not bling bling.

functionally the same

Shipping is fairly expensive though. It is a big box it might have to be freight.

Exhaust does not have to be freight. JDM exhaust boxes are longer and my BC just come a few weeks ago via UPS.

Funny thing is that both Mstewar's and my BC SpecIII total shipping weight was 26 Pounds, Including hardware and all packaging material!

I have a BC Box For Sale if you would need a Box to use...

That's ok i have some card board. The Mugen is not 26 pounds though, try 37.6 (B-pipe = 18.2lbs / Axel back = 19.4lbs). I wonder how much UPS charges though.

I don't know Iggy....even if it may be mint..it's gonna be hard to find a buyer at that price, unless of course you find someone that wants a perfect one at a discount. But if someone was that **** to begin with they probably wouldn't want used in the first place.

Try selling local. I know there are people willing to drive to get a good deal. So sell it for 850 pickup and see if you get any takers.

I don't really want to sell, but I won't let it go for less than $900.

Besides I'm still thinking.

If you don't want to let it go for less than $900 than your going to keep it for a long long time.

USED, if an item is $975, people are willing to pay about $650 for it that and if you really have good references, prices go up another $75...
