all 4 cyl. mis-firing.????
so last night some jackass swapped the plug wires on the dist.
i didnt know this til i went to my friends shop and scanned the CEL that came on. at first we thought it was a fuel prob. anyway. we finally fix it and now the car shuts off when letting off the gas. its a stock d16 motor. could the valves be bent?? it turns on fine, revs fine. just cuts off.
we probably drove about 10 miles total (going to shop and back) while misfiring..
thanx for any help.
(and yes, i was PISSED last night)

they are in correctly.. i searched and got the diagram of the dist. it turns on and revs fine. just when you let off the gas. it goes to idle and wants to shut off, but i tap the gas.
ima tighten the throttle cable a bit to hold it above stock idle
