Default D16Y7 is there anything good?

I have an D16Y7, is there anything good with these engines?

I have seen some selling them like they are worth something.

What can you do to an D16Y7, ie hybrid mods?

Thanks

If you can afford a B-series to replace it, do it. The Y7 is the lowest hp out of the 96-00 Civics and has a junk transmission (extremely long gearing) to complement it.

There are mods for it though. You can always put on an intake and an aftermarket header designed for a Y8. Turboing as well as nitrous (65-shot max on stock internals imo) have also been popular things to do.

edit: add a y8 head $200-$250, homemade turbo $800 - $1200
