Ground Control and KYB AGX install problem.....help please, searched
hi, first of all, i have searched and found different answers.....
For my 92 civic hatch
I did my install today with the gc and agx, I was running on gc with stock shocks before. And today I took the stock shocks apart and installed the agx. I disassemble the stock shocks, take eveything out and put everything back into the agx, without any mod.
So few questions I have is, I searched and found many people said to cut the bump stop in half, for what can somebody tell me?
And I couldn't fit the stock dust cover using the gc on the agx, meaning if i use the dust cover the gc just wouldn't fit, so I took it out. What other options do I have, do i need the dust cover? And a few people said yes and no from searching.
So, what do h-t thinks?
Thanks

hmm... the bump stops should be trimmed if you want a good ride. i trimmed only 1 rib off and did some other mod to give it 1.4 inch more travel.
the dust cover jus leave it off since it wont even go on. maybe you can buy some rubber dust boots like those on teins.

When I had my GC's on my 00 hatch I trimmed the bump stops in half and cut the dust covers. The instructions with my GC's told me how much to cut the dust covers. I can't remember how much at the moment.
