I know, but I still want one.

I'll drive the ITR-powered Elise when the Jag is feeling cranky.

is a two seat RWD coupe weighing about 2700 lbs.

It is powered by a twin cam inline six.

It has fully independant double wishbone suspension.

It's styling makes women weak in the knees and men envious.

Oops. I just described a Jaguar E-Type.
Sounds like a M3 <--------------- My favorite...........

2700 pounds ??

whatever..

best car weights about 1800 pounds..
it's a 2 seater with the same configuration as the s2k ..
got 12 000 rpm redline using a 2.2l VTEC

and 6 gears...

and is really low
and handles like a GO KART
ehhe

or again ..could use a 125cc go kart with a fiber body on top with few reinforcements..but hey..that's not a car
ahha

Except for the suspension. The M3 has struts.

Not that I'd let that keep me from including it on my growing list. The M3 is pretty damn close to perfection.

I guess I'd take one of those too. Honestly, I'd rather have a NA 2WD 996 myself.

I can only speak for myself, but I will never be finished.

Default Re: My 2 cents... (bb6h22a)

Depends on whether it was to be my only car. If it had to involve some kind of utility, reliability, and poor weather capabilities, that narrows the field significantly.

My '97 prelude fits the bill quite nicely . . . . .

And if it's not quick enough, I can always spend the cash I saved on not getting a BMW on a JRSC (with hondata, 440cc injectors, clutch, & LSD)

But if I could pick a second car (for free). . . . . the M5 sure would be nice. Enough room for all my friends (I only have 3), and a more relaxed road trip/highway cruiser than the 'lude.

I'm definately thinking about a single car that could be driven every day without penalty.

As for new cars, both the E36 and E46 M3s top my list. But my original post was about the Jaguar E-type. I'd take a 3.8 liter Series I E-type coupe over just about anything.
