What would you do if people referred to your car as "just a beefed up civic" or "just another Integra"? Many people have referred to the R as being both of those. I was just curious...why? I usualy just say "ok" or something along those lines when people tell me that. I understand totaly that it is an Integra, but it's not just any other Integra. Oh well, what do I say guys and what's your opinions on this? Thanks!

 

i'd call them a moron for even calling in a Civic or just an ordinary Integra.

 

I usually tell them there are approx. 1500 made a year (for the US), and then ask them to race

For them to even make those statements is asinine. They are trying to down talk a perceived icon. I think of my car as a honda, not an acura. And it is a civic platform. some springs here, some reinforcements there, and a plaque. Oh, but the total package is what does it for me.

 

I wish someone will say that to me...

I will reply: (with a very happy face) "Yes, it is only an Integra"... Actually you can get it at your local KMarT!...
