Need advice on an LSD for my turbo GSR
I just traded my ITR tranny setup for a GSR tranny with clutch and flywheel. I wanted to install an LSD before I put the tranny on the car.
I have a few questions:
1.) will an ITR lsd be beneficial for my turbo setup. Ill be running anywhere from 250-275whp.
2.) which LSD would you guys suggest. I hear more then anything....Quaife. But how much am I looking at spending? Any good online dealers with good prices? Id like to spend between 700-800. Nothing higher.
Now I understand that Quaife has the lifetime guarantee so its probably my best choice. But if money happens to become an issue will an ITR lsd hold up or handle the power? Or is there another alternative?
Thanks for the helps guys

i wasn't sure if an ITR would hold up with the torque and hp i was making...so i just opted to get a quaife and never worry about getting another one every again.
i also hear good things about kazz as well.

I have an ITR diff in my car and haven't had any problems with it yet.
388 whp and 298 ft/lbs at one point and launching on 24.5x8x13 slicks.
Never blew up a diff and did not break an axle.

I was just making sure the ITR lsd would be beneficial. I don't want to buy it and have it not be useful or break. Maybe ill just save up for the Quaife so that I don't ever have to worry. Its just there is a 400 dollar difference and that could be the price im paying for tuning my car after the turbo install or it could be money for me building up my stock internals. Thats the way im looking at it.

you're gonna eventually want more power and then you'll need something that will hold more power. there are people who get away with not breaking and ITR LSD but many more who have had trouble with them with over 275whp. i would suggest a quaife and be done with it.
