HATE my HATCH Light
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. What in the hell is the problem? Why does it work 3 times in a row, but then not work 5 times after that?
Could someone please lend me a hand? Tired of holding a flashlight in my mouth when I'm trying to put stuff in my trunk.
Thanks.

i disconnected that light after it stayed on and drained my battery, twice
I use a flashlight.
To answer your question, the bulb probably needs replacing. Its definately not an electrical problem

Lots of tegs have had this problem. I fixed mine by just running a constant power source to it (from the distribution block for my amp). WOrks great now
On a side note, does anybody's "hatch open" dummy light work? mine doesn't...

i had a 98 so the light was activated when the rear latch was opened. there is a trigger in there because when i messed with mine the lights would turn on and off.

All Integra hatch lights are suppsed to come on when the hatch is opened IF the switch is in the on position.
As for the hatch open light, it only works when the ignition is on, just like the door open light, and yes mine works.

So my keys have to be in the ignition in order for my hatch light to activate?
Okay, dumb. Not your fault, but silly none-the-less.
