Default Bad News On Skunk2 Intake Manifolds!

Email I sent to Skunk2 early today through a large shop I do website work for:
(Edited name) Distributing is our main distributor right now and has been
for quite awhile. I have asked them to check on the release date for your
H22 intake manifolds, but they have not gotten back to me on a date. We are
looking to stock at least 10-15 of these as soon as they are released and more
in the future. Can you give me any information on the release date and when
they will be shipping to your distributors. Thanks.

Skunk2's response:
It doesn't look like it will be released anytime this year.

Looks like we are all going to be waiting long time unless someone else finally makes one.

Yeah, though "this year" is only six more weeks. Or do they mean "in the next year"?

They will probably have it in 2004, but it just doesn't sound too promising that it will be early 2004.

Yes GE manf makes one for a Lude but it is designed for Boost, not for NA use.

does it really take this long to design a manifold? or do they want to miss out on $$?

You guys should just give up on this stupid manifold.

You can get a JG IM:

GE. $575:

Wilson Manifold:

If I were you guys I would just port the stock one

If Erick Aguilar can get a Honda into the deep 10s NA with a worked GSR intake manifold, then an H22a manifold can be worked for 99% of the applications the prelude forum needs

yeah, so far, i'm thinking, that carbon fiber intake manifold(since i think i'm gonna go with a high boost turbo with a low compression motor) is gonna be the best bet. and everything i hear about Skunk2 is either they're gonna release their intake manifold soon or it's in development.

i'm thinking either Carbon Fiber Intake Manifold because it's gonna be a TURBO Lude or a Prelude Type S
