Toda Killer cams and ITB's (Round 1 tuning complete) plots inside.
Real quick:
The only change between runs was the removal of the stock TB/intake manifold, change from hondata to AEM EMS system and injectors. These were the ONLY changes!
NOTE: 13degree base timing for now and no changes to the ignition maps...yet and 100% stock head, thus the lower than expected peak numbers.
After the final tuning is complete, another 10-14ish HP will be on tap. She stills gets 27+mpg on the highway
Before some of you morons get all bent out of shape about the "numbers" THIS IS NOT A DYNOJET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so forget all you know about peak numbers.
[For comparison, a 6psi B18C1 yields about 206hp on our dyno.....so ITB's = yum, yum]
What IS important is the solid +20hp gains found in the midrange!!
for those that forgot, this is the setup
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=663978
Enjoy!
before and after
same plot as above but shown in "deltas" form, with the x-axis as the base line run.
30hp and 24ft/lbs gains!!!
first run over the last........tuning is your friend.
Look for a "How to install" coming to a magazine near you

Whoa.
Wow, excellent gains.
Could the gains be realized if you had not switched from Hondata to AEM EMS?
(with the same injectors obviously)

Har! My laptop is secured by a third party 26bit encryption. It's on a wireless network, don't want anyone to just snoop around eh?
For you computer geeks wanting to crack the code it's 26 characters 0-9 and letters A-F.
Good Luck.

Is the AEM just more suited to running ITB's than the Hondata?
Thanks.

I would imagine that the biggest difference being that hondata needs a MAP sensor for fuel mapping, and EMS can do it off the throttle signal...i think...or something...
i have neither...so i could be totally off...

No the letters aren't case sensitive Ed!

EDIT: Never mind I just did some more reading about the AEM unit and it is a true stand-alone that uses the factory sensors rather than needing to install new sensors.
Thanks. Is that becuase Hondata is a piggy-back setup where the AEM setup replaces the factory ECU? I would think that passing the information through the stock ECU would be a limiting factor.
