ok...well heres my story of hell...tuesday i am coming home from school to go back to work, and my ignition decided to die...so i get that rigged, and find out about this 89 si....so i go pick up the 89...and the alt belt breaks....so we finally get it started, and im like 1/4 mile down the road, and the car dies....so then we put my good battery into the 89 and let my 88 run off the alt.....we get to a gas station (my 88 is running on fumes) and were about to leave....when my 89 dies.....im like god damnit....so then my boy nick (who is driving my 8 goes to put it in reverse..and stalls...so now we have the good battery in my 89 and none in the 88...anyway....we go into the gas station mart and find some hose repair tape....so we try to make a new alt belt...that doesnt work....i was under my car for like an hour....so then....we try to pop the clutch, and that works, i take off as soon as the hood is closed.....were driving on a busyt hwy...(the 89 is running like ****.....im doing about 35 mph)...we come up to a red light...and i cant stop the car b/c it will die....so i go around everyone..and like 20 feet after the light, the car dies....i have nick push my 89 with my 88.....after a while at driving 15 mph, the car starts again....so we get to another light (we turned off the hwy and used back roads)....the car dies again...so he pushes me again....we get to the point, where my 89 wont move.....(wont start anymore) so we pulled over on the street.....there is smoke pouring out from under my hood....so i quickly pop the hood...and my cat is cherry red......so, i have to call AAA to get towed....im talking to the guy on the phone, and tel lhim i want it towed to my house (30 mins away driving like an *******)..he told me the first 3 miles were free, and each additional mile is $3...i was like **** that...i got it towed to my girlfriends house....oh i forgot to mention that my 88 knows im going to sell it....one of the head lights are blown, and there is a leak in my radiator....anyway....we finally get both cars to my girlfriend eleanor's house.....so were leaving....and about 2 miles down the road....the car dies....nick has to get out and push me onto a side street.....so we figured out what was wrong....and started it back up....we get about maybe 5 miles down the road again, and my temp gage is shooting up...we pull over and let it sit, (the leak on my radiator is just pissing out antifreeze....) we stop about 4 times until we get to my school....so we stopped there, and the security guys helped up.....from then on we made it back to my house....this morning i told nick afte i drop him off at home, i wanted to go home b/c i dont feel right about today.....but no, i went to dmv to see what time they open to transfer my title and **** over...i get there to do it and they said i cant b/c the guy i bought the car off of, never put the title in his name.....so i was pissed about that...i get to my car, and it wont start.....i cant figure out what the hell is wrong with it......so as of now, its still in the parking lot...my dad had to come get me to take me to work.....that was the story of my day yesterday/today.....this sucks.....the week from HELL!!!!!!

sounds like when i picked up my 88. but i had 100 free miles towing to my house and my other car didnt break down. good luck gettin both of them running. sounds like you cant even make one complete car out of both of them

I do agree however on how cars know when they are getting sold. I had a 92 Z24 that I was suppose to trade for a 91 Si hatch and the guy looked at it said yeah we could make the trade. Well my GF and I was in a hurry so I said OK we can do it in the morning guy agrees I drop off the car do some stuff next morning go to start it and go trade him DAMN car wont start!! I tried all sorts of **** and it pissed me off so I said screw it and sold it on Ebay...This ios of course after it was taking too long and the guy wouldnt trade me anymore. Man if only I would ahve traded him the same damn night!!

well i didn't know u were a girl and have a gf and yes u are cursed i don't know kinda happend to a friend but when he bout his y-49 the a$$hole didn't tell him the radiator didn't have any fluid and had a serious leak we had fun for about 20 min the booom clank clank clank hole the size of a tennis ball in the block. got new motor wouldn't start for like a week drove it for a month then some old lady ran him off the road. so i guess they really are cursed
