I drive a 00 Si (ebp, my avatar pic) I currently have blue Corbeau Carrera seats, I am getting some new seats. Long story short I wanted brides but I can't afford them . So I have been intrested in Recaro Srd's. Should I get the Full Red Recaros or the Avus Black seats with red-stiching? I think both would look sweet, but I need some ideas from you all? Thanks

 

Full red Recaros.

 

I can get full red recaros for $70 cheaper, I just didn't know if the red would be to much in the car. I have a Takata belt in the drivers seat, my friends said the color combo would look like a mexican flag Anybody else

 

You already have Corbeaus... So I'm guessing you're getting seats mainly for show. I'd get the black recaros.

 

The seats are for a little bling I suppose, I do auto-X and do the occasional open-track events at the local road-coarse so they do see use were they are needed. I just wasn't really pleased with the corbeaus quality, my dad has recaros in his car and they are nice *** seats. Oh well.

I was going to say black for sure... but... hmmm... I guess red don't look bad either tho

 

If it ain't black it's whack.

 

The red color would show wear/dirt faster.

 

All the red seats that i have seen look pink after about a year so i say black but that is just my opinion

Damn just when I think I figure it out, I can't decide on the color.......Does anyone know the wear charictaristics on the avus compared to the non-avus red material? Keep the info rollin, thanks guys
