Default Turbo Oil Feed Line. (Not SS) ok?

I have everyone at this shop telling me that if my engine doesn't produce more than 50 to 100 PSI then im not going to need a super high pressure rated hose.
They said i can save money and go with a 300 PSI hose, and use the fittings as normal to connect the hose. but use clamps instead of threads. They say they've done it for a long time. even on turbo cars.
Will a 300 PSI pressure line work for my oil feed to the turbo?

I know its not as good as a SS, but will it most likely work for my application?
Thanks

well you do not have 300psi of oil pressure or i hope not, turbo would be shot. the clamps should work fine, i know some people that do that and they havent had any problems. personally i like to use the threaded ends for the added protection, but thats just me

yeah you can. Most use braided line for two reasons.. Bling and heat resistance.

you should be fine...as long as the line aren't too big to send too much oil volume to the turbo...

3/16 is an ideal size..

I choose to buy Stans oil return kit instead of installing the oil return joke included with the revhard kit. Using a regular hose and hose clamps seems more likely to be problematic with leaking. Especially inches away from the downpipe. Oil is not something you mess with.

Plus enginebay temps are pretty high, wouldn't wanna take the risk of melting it...

what he said. thats the main reason for SS. the feed sits really close to the manifold and turbing housing which could easily melt it and destroy your entire motor/ turbo if u dont notice it

I already bought the hose, and all, and i guess SS, would be safer around higher temp areas, but i am wondering if i route the feed line around the exhaust the best i can, and maybe heat wrap the hose in that area, i should be fine right?
Thanks,

there you go...you've spent so much money on your car, don't ruin it for $ 20 piece of line....You should already have all the fitting I can sell you a bare stainless braided lines for $ 25 with -3Female hose ends on both ends..

If you need to work out details about the lines, just let me know, I don;t mind sending the line to you and work out details of payment later, I just don't want you to ruin everything for $20 piece of rubber line, while another $ 5 you can have a peace of mind of stainless braided line..
