Default 96-00 Civic HEADLIGHT BEAM adjustment? *HID*

okay, I looked at the thread titled "The HID Thread", and I didn't find what I was looking for, My Ctr headlights point the bulbs to the left, I need to adjust it, I've heard of tightening/loosening the screws on the back of the headlamp assemblies, but It doesn't budge, Let me know how you guys do it. TIA

if you need to adjust - left to right or vice-versa use the adjustment screw/**** towards the center (grill) on the back of the headlamp - you will need to adjust it many rotations as it only moves it a slight bit...I would would cover up the other headlamp so you get a clear picture of the beam of light you are trying to adjust - also make sure the headlamp appears to be installed "straight" compare to the other

LoL

You don't use screws to adjust your headlights.. There are bolts that you have to turn.. I think it's towards the center of the front. You'll have to play with it to get the beam where you want it.

They're not bolts either. They're more like little gears that you have to turn with a philips head screwdriver, but I think he tried that already.

Check to see if the bulb is installed right. Wiggle it around a little to see if you can lock it in place. Otherwise, those headlight adjustment ***** are all you have left.

the bulbs are tight as hell, I will try to adjust more tonight, I think it's because I have civic type R headlights and there are no reflector shields...

the tip of a phillips head screw driver will fit in the teeth of the gears, and just twist. Check your owner's manual. Instructions there.
