Default Technical Differences b/t New JDM ITR K20 and the versions in RSX S/Aus Type-R

I am currently talking to some vehicle importers here in New Zealand about sourcing the new JDM ITR. One of them has asked for a detailed explanation of the differences between the K20C in JDM ITR and the version of the K20 in Aus Type-R/RSX S.

I have been able to obtain output specs but no DEFINITIVE (i.e. no guesswork, just known facts please!) explanation of the differences in the engines. This importer maintains it may be just the ECU, but I know I've read somewhere that the pistons and crank are different (K20C has 11.5CR and fully balanced cam shaft).

Please can folks with detailed tech knowledge respond. Thanks in advance.
