fiberglass hood
i just painted my fiberglass hood white(couldn't afford a carbonfiber guys, sorry). unfortunately, it came out crappy due to an unclean gun and lack of too little thinner. well, i'm planning on painting it again, but i'm going back to black. what do you guys reccomend i do to remove the existing white paint?should i use paint remover or sand it down or what?remember, its fiberglass so i don't wanna sand too much...suggestions please!!!!
lightly sand it down so it's smooth again then repaint, and don't feel bad about not having a carbon fiber hood. i am actually looking for a stcck looking fiberglass hood so I can paint it to match. I think carbon fiber can bring good and bad attention to your car. And bad attention is what i am trying to stay away from. Besides both are reasonably light, except one usually cost much less.
