04 nhra rule changes finally out
http://www.nhrasportcompact.co....html
Only SFWD change is liminting us to 26" slicks. kick ***, no crazy changes.
Crap, am I reading this right, Hot rod limited to a turbo with a 3.1" inlet? Isn't that a damn T04E housing, or do some of the bigger chargers neck down to 3" at the wheel itself?

OEM glass may be replaced with Lexan or other shatterproof material, minimum thickness 1/8-inch. Lightweight replacement panels permitted. Body must be full scale (7/8-, 3/4-scale, etc. prohibited). Final approval rests with NHRA. NHRA will monitor size, shape, and mounting of spoilers and/or wings; final approval rests with NHRA. Maximum front overhang 45-inches, measured from front of car to center of spindle. In the interest of maintaining "stock bodied appearances" of Pro RWD vehicles, NHRA is currently evaluating body dimension guidelines and methods of enforcement. It is strongly advised that any new Pro RWD vehicles under construction should be held as close to stock dimensions as possible. Final Approval rests with NHRA. Front ends may be lengthened to establish 45-inch maximum overhang measurement. Body must appear on Accepted Body List.

Crap, I'd never even seen that, I'll have to add weight to my CRX to get it up to NHRA weight then. How strictly do they enforce that in the street classes?
