Is transmission swap realiable? Any one got any problems?

Is transmission swap realiable? Any one got any problems?

I'm going to do auto to 5 speed swap, but some of my friends said it is not realiable after it. However, they didn't say how non-realiable is that. So, do anyone knows more about it? or even you are facing the problems with this swap?

your friends dont know what they are talking about...
well, they are as un-realiable as lets say.....a stock manual equipped engine

I agree with that, its reliable if its done right. I have done it in my cars and a few customers cars and I never had a problem with mine or anyone coming back complaining about something.
